Do you have a project idea that will support people to create new businesses in South & East Cornwall?
We’re pleased to announce £100 000 of funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to support people to establish new businesses in South and East Cornwall.
We are looking for projects that will: raise aspirations; involve a minimum of 12 hours interaction with participants; and enable local people to become enterprise-ready. Participants of the project will need to attain an appreciation of the challenges of running their own business, including financial competence, market analysis, and business planning. Projects will be expected to guide these budding entrepreneurs to the point of start-up.
In addition to the above, short-term support for new enterprises may also be incorporated to help them take their first steps into self-employment.
We expect project applicants to demonstrate an understanding of the economic context of South and East Cornwall and evidence how they will link with local organisations for engagement, support and/or legacy purposes. All projects must be innovative and a have a clear exit strategy that demonstrates lasting impact.
